Kaya Labs has confirmed founder Kabir Sen as chief executive officer with effect from 11 February 2026. Sen founded the company in 2021 and had previously used the title head of product.
Kaya builds document-processing tools for Indian financial institutions and works with a small number of banks and insurers. The company has stayed under sixty people by choice and has raised a single institutional round.
Sen prices per processed document rather than per seat, a decision he has called commercially inconvenient and strategically necessary, on the basis that per-seat pricing asks a bank to forecast usage of something it has not yet deployed.
