Rupaya has confirmed Imran Qureshi as chief financial officer with effect from 11 August 2026, formalising a role he has held on an interim basis since 2024. Qureshi joined from Arka Capital, where he was group financial controller.
His two years at the company have been spent largely on reporting architecture rather than fundraising. Rupaya moved its revenue recognition from origination to loan lifecycle, a change that reduced reported revenue in the transition year, and consolidated eleven entity structures into four.
The company operates consumer lending in partnership with three banks and a non-banking financial company. It has not confirmed a listing timetable, and Qureshi’s appointment was announced without reference to one.
