Priya Raghavan adds engineering leadership to CTO remit at Kavach Cloud

Kavach Cloud has consolidated its engineering organisation under chief technology officer Priya Raghavan with effect from 15 July 2026, following the departure of its vice president of engineering.

Raghavan joined the company in 2023 from Arclight Systems, where she ran platform reliability. Her mandate at Kavach has been narrower than the title implies: roughly half the engineering organisation works on control-plane observability, compliance tooling and evidence generation, because the company sells to banks and hospitals whose procurement turns on documentation rather than benchmarks.

She circulates an unredacted postmortem digest to the full engineering group and has resisted pressure to produce a summarised version for the board, arguing that the useful part of an incident report is the sentence the author was slightly embarrassed to write.
