Suvarna Consumer Brands has expanded Neha Kapoor’s remit to chief marketing officer, demand, with effect from 30 June 2026. The change brings trade marketing under the same leadership as brand and digital for the first time at the company.
Kapoor joined Suvarna in 2021 and became chief marketing officer in 2024. She has argued internally against treating quick commerce as a separate channel with its own profit and loss, on the grounds that it fragments pricing decisions across teams that do not talk to each other.
She spent the first decade of her career in general trade at Tamarind Foods, running regional launches in Maharashtra and Gujarat. She sits on Suvarna’s pricing committee.
